I have to admit the newest disc of TRAUMA seems to me a bit controversial. The line-up is different this time, with the new vocalist – Chudy. And this time the musicians gave us the dose of deadly metal again, but this album is a little different from one's predecessors.
The first thing adverting is the sound and unfortunately I have to affirm that it is not favorable. If “Suffocated…” had great sound simply, from which the black flowed with hectoliters, and here lacks for me both a darkness and a heaviness. This time the dry, clinical sound replaced the power. Unfortunately I already have enough this productions from Hertz studio, with whole respect for brothers Wieslawski, but I think that they will should change a bit the system of work because their productions are too similar for me. But the music of the band is decidedly better here but I found some minuses… The most generally saying the band finds pleasure in technical, somewhat “studied”, although still brutal death metal.

“Make my blind” is the best track for me without no doubt, it differ somewhat from the rest of compositions, it has the great beginning and slowly attacks to listener. I wonder what would be sound this track if it would be found on previous material, and I made conclusion that the track would fit perfectly there, it also is very dark, climatically, outright with amazing perverse vocals.
Unlocking “Blade under your throat” also stands out from the rest of tracks, it's very motor, it's based on the excellent work of the guitars, it's nice to listening. It is a little pity that the larger part of the cd did not compose in the similar style.
The frequent changes of pace and melodic lines of tracks (e.g. “Spiritual disorder”) are big positive sign for the band.

Generally the musicians make their work great, but it's a pity that sometime it's without result… Namely, the album stands on high-level in technical way, but the compositive part often is only average. It seems me that the team wants sometimes so very to impress with one's skills and often inventing more broken and hard structures that they haven't attentions the joining of the structures haven't bigger sense. But for consolation I can add that this my grows smaller with every next listening.
The album had restore former reputation of the band and unlock new doors as well as show the band as really powerful competitor in scene of death metal. Unfortunately the album is good only meanwhile, and it make the mixed feelings – sometimes there is too lot of professionalism and too little feeling…
