Voil á the next material of Italians. Although it is the only I had opportunity to listen. But from the outset some associations walk me in my head, but I can not remind myself the old band. So, the analysis of “Obsession” we start from the beginning…

The whole album contains 11 tracks and there are the intro and the outro (like in old good times – at present bands don't want to make this). The music flowing from loudspeakers is the melodious but still dynamic thrash metal, in which besides the pinch of darkness and melancholy we foundling the place on the aggressive hors-d'oeuvres. Although the musicians in their arrangements more put up on the technique and the complex themes, the moderate paces (but the paces aren't devoid the opposing change of pace) and on the special melodic than on the aggressiveness, intensive dynamics or – as I define – on the controlled chaos.

Obviously this would not be thrash metal if here the kick and the energy would not were as well as the heaviness created by work of the guitar and the drums, but in spite of all the moderation is keep. Even these sharper guitar's parties have the specific melody. The melody is the preference matter here and together the very characteristic melodious colour of vocal (which push me many associations, but about this below) create the quite interesting whole. This whole is diversified by the variety of phrases or else even the surprising motives.

I think that every the musician put considerable contribution in arranging the music. The every has several “one's five minutes” here, e.g. in the guitar melodious or the sharp solos, or the passages, in the solo or the leading parties of bass, or else in the work of drums. The whole sounds murkily and hard with the suitable dose of melancholy and progression…

On the end I will mention my associations, which appear during listening this material, obviously I didn't find something ideally similar to FEAR TRADERS (but is well), only the some scraps reminded me MEGADETH, ANNIHILATOR and CEREBRAL FIX.
