KABBAL „Synthetically Revived”

KABBAL „Synthetically Revived” - okładka

Having never heard of KABBAL, I had no clue what I was about to hear. I actually hesitated pushing the play button when I put it in the Cd player. I am now glad that I played it. This Cd is loaded with catchy hooks that had me replaying several songs just so I could hear them again. Track 4 “Life Surge” has one of the coolest rhythms I've heard in a while. When I heard it the first time I started laughing in delight. I did notice however that the more I turned up the volume, the more it distorted the songs. I love to play my music loud, but this one limited my volume. I don't know if it was mixed too low or what. That was the only thing that stuck out as a downside to the Cd.

Each member of KABBAL does a great job pushing out some old-school sounding Death Metal. I heard alot of influences throughout. Not alot of all-out blasting tempo's, just enough to satisfy. Most of the Cd is mid-paced tempo's that are down-right brutal. If your a fan of the old-school Death Metal sound, give this one a try and see what you think. Maybe it will have you smiling in delight also.
