Insidius Infernus is a new Greek black metal band and this is the very first time I came across their name. Ok, from their cover I knew what I was about to listen to… Norwegian black metal. That was not wrong! Insidius Infernus is into black metal with influences from bands like Darkthrone and Carpathian Forest. The production is the way it should be for a black metal band of this style and the artwork is all black & white something that reminds the first black metal releases from Norway. You know, typical cult black metal things. But there is something else that makes Insidius Infernus to sound more interesting. This is the ethereal vocals of Luciferia. Her vocals are really good and the combination of a pure black metal riff with these is interesting. Actually I prefer their pure black metal parts but the use of female vocals is interesting and helps the listening of the album. Here I have to say that Insidius Infernus is a duo with Ungod and Luciferia being the only members of the band. A very good black metal release that must be supported from fans of black metal and especially by those who like Darkthrone. Well done guys!!!
