Deviser is one of the most well known Greek black metal bands. The whole story started back at 1989 and at 1995 they released one of the greatest demos in Greece ever! That was “Thy blackest love”. The demo received many enthusiastic reviews worldwide and this had as a result to Deviser to release their amazing debut “Unspeakable cults” through Mascot recs. Last summer they released “Running sore”, their more recent album. This cd now contains the 3 tracks of “Thy blackest love” demo ( “The fire burning bright”, “Threnody” and “2000 years of lies” ), 3 tracks of a promo only for labels which released in 1999, “Forbidden knowledge” in a demo version and “Into his unknown” form a promo tape of 1992. As you can see the material of this cd is more than interesting! This is a great chance to see how black metal used to be in Greece these days and be amazed at the outstanding vocals of deviser in their demo era. The sound is very good as well as the booklet and the front cover. I suggest you to buy this release which reminded me my first years our beloved music…
