“Mediocracy” is the second album of the Swiss from Lausanne, whose music oscillates around Technical Death Metal’s arrangements. So the musicians have their hands full of work while playing them songs, but they had various experiences in others local bands, so rather they feel at ease.
The compositions are characterized by typical brutality and heaviness, as it is befits for Death Metal… The fast and very fast paces, the crushing rifffs of guitars and of course the monstrous growl form the basis of the arrangements. But the real taste is created by the breakneck licks of guitars (aggressive, predatory, almost manic, enriched by spicy accents and solos) and the frenzied rhythms of drums and the unexpected changes of rhythms.
The material completely devastates by own brutality. Even the short decelerations crush everything. The whole thing is just murderous.
