WITHERED „Memento Mori”

Straight from the back blocks of Atlanta Georgia comes this debut album from newly raised Death Metal four piece Withered. Formed in 2003, Withered features ex-Social Infestation duo vocalist / guitarist Chris Freeman and guitarist Mike Thompson, joined by drummer Wes Kever (ex-Puaka Balava) and bassist Greg Hess who was previously with a band by the name of Leechmilk.

ELYSIUM „Feedback””

Fast blaring force intro with the speed of light enters the first realm of musical existence with Elysium’s title track World Hello Day. Melodically yet almost sinisterly blended guitar ripping chords, harsh sporadic vocals to the intensely filled power of the rhythm section Elysium’s style of music boarders on the lines of extreme thrash with low frequencies of Death Metal.

PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT „Left in Grisly Fashion”

When it comes to sicko hyper speed blasting death metal, very few bands take the opportunity to be subtle about it. In the case of Denmark’s ‘Prostitute Disfigurement’, they’re take on the style is about as subtle as a sledgehammer!! In fact these guys, save for their even sicker fellow countrymen ‘Severe Torture’, are pretty much the epitome of ultra brutal Death Metal extremity.
