DEMONS AND WIZARDS „Touched By The Crimson King”
When vocal god Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian) and guitarist/song writer John Schaffer (Iced Earth) teamed up some 5-6 years ago for their Demons & Wizards project, I was excited by the prospect of what would result from their collaboration. Needless to say, the self titled debut disc was nothing short of brilliant.
PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT „Left in Grisly Fashion”
When it comes to sicko hyper speed blasting death metal, very few bands take the opportunity to be subtle about it. In the case of Denmarks Prostitute Disfigurement, theyre take on the style is about as subtle as a sledgehammer!! In fact these guys, save for their even sicker fellow countrymen Severe Torture, are pretty much the epitome of ultra brutal Death Metal extremity.
GOTTHARD „Lipservice”
This album has all the hallmarks of being a potentially great hard rock album. From their name, the title, the slick artwork to the five leather clad dudes that grace the back cover, Swiss band Gotthard (with one inverted T) have the whole image thing sorted.
