DRACONIAN „Where Lovers Mourn”
Draconian is a band that is part of metal scene since 1994 but only now, nearly 10 years later, they managed to release their debut album through Napalm records. Following the tradition of this label's bands they are into doom/death metal with some gothic influences.
DRACONIS SANGUIS „Between Insanity And Brilliance”
Why someone should buy a release like this one which has a production worst than a demo and the music is also worst than the one of a good unsigned band? Draconis Sanguis come from Germany and this release could be considered as an average one if it was their demo. But by the time this is a release from a label… and the fault is also to their label, Metal Age because the production really sucks.
DUSKFALL, THE „Frailty”
Nice surprise! These guys from Sweden are here to offer us fresh death/thrash metal in the veins of At The Gates and Dark Tranquility. 10 songs that will satisfy every fan of this style with their melodies and passion.
DAEMUSINEM „Daemusinem Domine Empire”
Let's suppose you are the manager of a metal label. Would you ever sign a melodic black metal band who seems to have as influences Ninnghizhidda and Unlord? These guys are awful and they reminded me of the tragic releases of the bands above.
CARNAL REDEMPTION „The Limits Of Persistence”
Carnal Redemption is a new underground band from Greece. They started playing in late 2000 and this is their first demo cd.
CONTEMPT „Stormforce”
Contempt come from Denmark and this is their debut album from Diamond recs. , a label from Denmark too.
CROSSOVER „Debaucher”
This Greek metal band had done a lot of impression in the underground scene with their demo “Over The Cross” and no long after its release they had the chance to sign to Dead Sun records and release their first album. I was expecting to listen to something better and more interesting and this is something that happens in the matter of music.
BLINDED COLONY „Divine”
Blinded Colony is a new Swedish band and, what a surprise, they are into melodic death metal like In Flames and Soilwork with more melodies in their music. Nothing special here but if you are a fun of this style you will like “Divine”.
