Holy crap! New DESTRUCTION album D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N is a total blast between the eyes of each thrash metal posers! Fast, furious, and… bit technical! I am suprised that DESTRUCTION can play more technical than others and… as I never supposed to, DESTRUCTION can shred as well!
Just try to mix: amazing and blistering thrash metal solo riffage,with agressive and pasionable guitar play and with fast, and quite groovy drumming of Marc Reign. What could be achieved in result? Pure and really enjoyable thrash metal record.

DESTRUCTION has recorded about ten really strong, and (that's a suprise) modern thrash metal anthems. Each one of those tracks is a potential concert killer and a must song in show setlist. Although they (songs) are destined to mosh and circle pit running, DESTRUCTION has incorporated some fresh elements like various melodies which can be a suprise for die hards. Variety of melody and modern sound gave us superb example of really good album of one of the oldest thrashing bands ever. Indeed one of the oldest, but not with the old/classical sound.

Schmier proove us that he with his mates are still full of really interesting ideas, this record is a best example of being still active, still full of anger… and best example of how to use their experience. Devolution is a great, complex, and mature album. Just like it should be.

I am really suprised of this album. I'm curious how this songs work on a show. DESTRUCTION is well known, from its fast and intensive really intensive shows. Propably I will participate in one of those shows in nearest future, so I will have opportunity to check it out how it all works. I wish you the same.
