Cool songs: there are only 3 and they are all great!
I really dont like seeing a metal band becoming popular and then hundreds of bands following the style of that band in order become famous. But when some of them are good I have to admit it. Of Infinity is a new band from San Antonio and they are into melodic and atmospheric power metal with female vocals in the vein of Nightwish, Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation.
The Essence Of Infinity is a demo release with only 3 tracks but it is obvious that this band can have a great future, at least as long as this style is popular. These 3 songs have a very good structure with melodic and heavy riffs to be followed by atmospheric parts with acoustic guitars and keyboards. Of course it would be great if we had the chance to listen to more songs of the band and I hope they will soon release a full length album. Some things I would like to point out are the amazing production of this demo that proves that every band can have a good production and not just excuses about their average or bad one. Furthermore, I would like to say that Of Infinity have made a great work to the promo package of this release. These are details but sometimes a good band knows that everything is important.
If you are a fan of bands with female vocals then give a shot to Of Infinity. I am sure you wont be disappointed and, why not, be able to have the demo of a great band of the future
