The album of Taiwanese team DIESEAR “Ashes of the Dawn” from 2015 years is re-released material, which was issued two years ago, but at present with the added bonus track. The cover artwork has symbolic meaning – in the style of magical diagrams. But I didn’t find what is intended to express this symbolism. First of all it goes well with album of Metal music. In the insert we will find the photo of team members in the same uniforms. It is stylized in a little effeminate way – which it may bother some. But maybe in Asia, where there is a different culture, just the greatest tough guys are presented in such way 😉

The first song “Faith in Ares” is the instrumental intro in supercilious mood. Then the album is dominated by melodic music with a lot of aggressin and dynamics. Singer with hoarseness very smoothly sings in English. Thanks to a good production all the instruments are clearly audible in any time. The songs are curiously composed, here a lot is happening. This is not playing a one riff throughout the song. The song No. 7 “Breath Remains” is not a long, instrumental, Metal ballad. Lead guitarist gives a display of skills on his instrument and expression of emotions by his instrument. The short track No. 10 is beautifull track on two acoustic guitars (the discrete keys appear in the background at the end of song). The both guitarists easily would be able to perform Flamenco music. Generally, the material is dynamic and coherent. The listening of the material should make a lot of satisfaction for fans of Melodic Death Metal.
