DARK FORTRESS „Eidolon”
Na twórczość tego pochodzącego zza naszej zachodniej granicy zespołu natrafiłem przypadkowo przy okazji premiery poprzedniej płyty “Seance”. Szczerze mówiąc do dziś nie znam zawartości pierwszych trzech, jednakże “Eidolon” sam pchał się w łapy, a że pod sztandarem Century Media poprzedni album prezentował całkiem przyzwoity poziom, toteż i w tym przypadku łechtany ciekawością nie odmówiłem sobie sięgnięcia po najnowszą produkcję DARK FORTRESS.

German power trio, FAR BEYOND plays a style of black metal the group describes as Angelic Black Metal. Angels normally do not fit into the idea of black metal, with its dark satanic imagery and themes, but it is the perfect description for the music this group plays. The aforementioned description is similar to the idea beauty in darkness.” An Angels Requiem is rich in melody and heavenly atmosphere, yet still features demonic vocals and aggressive rhythms.

VINTERRIKET „Der Letze Winter-Der Ewigkeit Entgegen”
Sounds of swirling, frigid winds open VINTERRIKETS album Der Letze Winter-Der Ewigkeit Entgegen. Soon ethereal keyboard passages and excessively distorted guitar take the place of the wind noises. The frosty musical atmosphere provides a cloak for Christopher Ziegler's voice.
