THE CHRONICLES OF ISRAFEL – Interview with Dominic Cifarelli
SHADES OF DUSK – Interview with vocalist Joffrey Chouinard and guitarist Lous.
Shades of dusk is a colorful and descriptive phrase. When the earth turns away from the sun and daylight dies, the world is filled with a myriad of radiant colors, long shadows, and an absence of light. Quebec, Canadas SHADES OF DUSK could not have picked a more fitting band moniker. The groups debut album on Galy records, like a days end, is filled with both luminescence and dim darkness, often displaying both moods at the same time. Fans that revel in depressive death metal with a melodic edge in the tradition of Gothenburgs pioneers read the following interview with SHADES OF DUSKs vocalist Joffrey Chouinard and guitarist Lous.
ESSENTIA – Interview with Joonas
We have this short, but great interview with Joonas, lead vocalist from the Finnish band .Essentia a Finnish word and means essence. The word comes from Latin.
Essentia has been around since 2001. They have recorded three Essentia is not music for the masses. They try to urge people to listen to good music and change the way the industry works. The goal is to get people to think and feel. Human beings have the ability to formulate opinions. Massmedia is exterminating the thinking and caring of the individual. Music is a strong force and way to make this world better. Essentia is the key to the castle where everybody is king.
LOVEX – Interview with Sammy Black
Some days ago, I had the chance to make an interview to this young talent from the successful band Lovex, Sammy Black. Graphic Designer as profession, Sammy has managed his studies with 2 bands, on which he have been part of their creation.
SCORNGRAIN – Interview with vocalist B.B. Enema
Scorngrain is a heavy ass Death/Thrash band out of Finland who have just recently released their second album on Dynamic Arts Records called 0,05%, which has undoubtedly got my vote for the best album of 2006. Its a heavy ass rhythmic, thrashing, with some good electronics thrown in that just pounds the hell out of me every time I put it in my cd player. Add the brutal Death screams of B.B. Enema and Scorngrain have become planted at the top of Tgod's Heavy Ass Shiiiiiiaaaaattt List!!!! I was able to get some good words from the bad ass vocalist B.B. Enema himself:
NECRO – Interview with Necro
New York City based Rap artist, NECRO is one of those few musical acts that crosses musical boundaries. As the proclaimed inventor of Death Rap, NECRO can appeal to fans of both Hip Hop and Metal. Death Rap is an apt nomenclature due to the morbid raps he and his Circle of Tyrants shoot from their mouths like poison darts. Lyrical subjects normally reserved for a Death or Black Metal album will have the most close- minded metal head dropping his jaw in agog after hearing them performed in rap songs or the most conservative Rap fan bobbing his head to the wicked beats. Read the following interview with NECRO to learn more about this unique artist.
DEMIRICOUS – Interview with Guitarist Scott Wilson
METALLICA, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, and EXODUSthe pioneers of the thrash metal movement. Those bands contribution to heavy metal cannot be quantified. They paved the way for the modern heavy metal sound. Over twenty years has passed since their glorious inception, and their influence on the scene is as powerful as ever. However, for heavy metal to thrive, new blood is imperative. Bands such as UNEARTH, LAMB OF GOD, TRIVIUM, GOD FORBID and ARCH ENEMY are the new generation of thrash. These bands are undeniably influenced by the forefathers of thrash, but breath new life into the movement by incorporating elements from various styles that have sprung forth since thrashs glorious birth. Another promising young band worth mentioning with this illustrious group is Metal Blade recording artist, DEMIRICOUS. Although not as well known as their peers, it is obvious this group is destined for stardom. Upon returning home from a two-part tour, first with BYZANTINE, then with DISMEMBER, GRAVE, VITAL REMAINS, and WITHERED, guitarist Scott Wilson took a few moments to answer a few questions for MetalCentre. Check out the following interview to find out why these young bloods have such a bright future ahead of them.
BISCLAVERET – Wywiad z Dragosem
Wkrótce światło dzienne ujrzy kolejne dziecko dark ambientalnego BISCLAVERET – dlatego razem z Dragosem zdecydowaliśmy się na tą krótką rozmowę zapowiadającą ich najnowszy album…
HORRORSCOPE – Wywiad z Pienałem i Blackpitfatherem
Jednak mam nadzieję, że pomimo to dacie szansę nowemu wydawnictwu HORRORSCOPE, do którego zachęcać was będzie Pienał (dr) i Blackpitfather (git).
LUNA AD NOCTUM – Interview with Adrian Nefarious
Since the birth of mankind, humans have always been fascinated with the moon, in particular the full moon. The moon has kept ancient and modern primitive societies enthralled by its supernatural aura. Modern societies of today understand that the moon is nothing but a massive rock in our planets orbit. Regardless, many educated people still believe that the full moon makes people act crazy. In fact, the word lunatic comes from the word lunar, another term for the moon. Polands LUNA AD NOCTUM found the moon so enchanting; they named their band after it. Chief songwriter, bassist, and vocalist of the band, Adrian Nefarious turned his eyes away from the moons enchanting rays long enough to discuss with Metal Centre his bands name as well as other topics of pure lunacy.
