The quintet GENTIHAA from Athens was founded in 2015. However, this is not the only artistic episode of these musicians. Each of them has already had a past in othe bands or nowadays have other bands. And this time, they inspired by the theme of fantasy (specifically the story from some online novel) realized their debut album, which was produced by Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND, SERIOUS BLACK) and mixed by Fotis Benardo (SEPTIC FLESH). In addition, they were supported by vocalist Tom Englund (EVERGREY) in two songs (“Singularity” and “Command”).

The arrangement continuum which they created on the debut is very extensive. Musical themes range from Heavy / Power Metal through Black Metal to Melodic Death Metal. And the whole is united by the sounds of the keyboards and para-orchestral symphony. The compositions are very diverse. Even in a one song we will hear each of the above genres of Metal, but skillfully integrated, interpenetrating, both vocally and instrumentally… From pure melodic moody singing through strong aggressive screams and growlings to polyphonic vocalizations… From climatic and calm melodies to heavy agitation and quick attacks… From dark melancholy through monumental and symphonic moods to predatory aggression and crushing brutality…

GENTIHAA is like an excellent alloy of noble metal containing many important chemical elements, such as DIMMU BORGIR, CHILDREN OF BODOM, SYMPHONY X, COVENANT, NIGHTWISH and many others. However, it takes a lot of interrogation to discover them all.
