VHÄLDEMAR sign to Fighter Records and reveal upcoming plans

Spanish power/heavy metal band Vhäldemar have just inked a contract with Fighter Records for a multi-album deal which includes not only the reissue of their two first albums, but their brand-new fifth opus, Against All Kings, that has just been recorded and whose release is expected for next autumn through the label, which is a new division of Xtreem Music devoted to classic heavy metal and rock ‘n’ roll sounds.

Formed back in 1999 in Barakaldo, Basque Country, Spain, Vhäldemar is one of the leading and most respected forces in power/heavy metal in Spain, having released four albums of a high caliber and building a solid reputation. To start with this new deal, Fighter Records is releasing a 2-CD including their two first albums, Fight to the End (2002) and I Made my Own Hell (2003), with several bonus tracks and fully remastered sound.

The recordings for their new album, Against All Kings, have just been finished, and the band is going to see a limited digipack EP released in May, containing three new songs from the album. Vhäldemar is also scheduled to play at Leyendas del Rock Festival next August alongside such bands as Megadeth, Amon Amarth, and Arch Enemy among others.

The release date for Fight to the End + I Made my Own Hell will be April 21st through Fighter Records on 2-CD. We’ll keep you informed about details on the new album, revealing cover art and new songs in its right time.
