Previously, I tried to introduce readers of Metal Centre the album of HERALD “Masin.” I hope that I did it well. Today I listen to their earlier album “Gaia” from 2010. It was released in the tenth birthday of the band. The Estonian band has assembled the album with twelve tracks performed by five musicians. And this is their second full-length album. And just as clearly before I said, today I also can say that they have a musical direction from many years and they still keep this Heavy Metal. The fans of HERALD and the lovers of Heavy Metal certainly respect the loyalty of the band to its listeners, because actually the musicians stick to the characteristic elements of traditional Heavy Metal music.

Namely, there is no shortage here of the strong distorted and rhythmically sounding guitars, the screaming energetic vocals and the clear bass. In addition, this all has the strong rhythm of the drums giving thoroughness and verve. From song to song you hear how much strength, energy and rebellion was used to their creation. Here a one sound chases the second sound and the human psyche gives them the emotions. At the beginning of the listening “Gaia” I thought “Masin” is better. But now I think that it was hastily statement. Probably it resulted from the fact that their first album what I listened to was just the album “Masin.”

The Estonian team really deserves for attention. They are traditionalists when it comes to Heavy Metal and they do it in a great release, both professionally and ably using their instruments. The vocal is garish, provocative and at times is melodic. And as the whole, it creates a great impression. From the strong, temperamental playing to the moody, melancholy sounds and sometimes with poetic vocals. In a one word… great.

I will not be more write and the lovers of such music I urge to reach for the album and the team, whose creators are faithful and in love to Heavy Metal. As I have read somewhere they volition is to share his music to all over the world…
