Swedish metal music scene offers for us FACESHIFT – the band and their second album, which they recorded in two weeks – “All Crumbles Down.” The album contains eleven tracks with the interesting cover-art with the photo of a intriguing figure of a man.
Swedish group creates their works inspired by bands like PANTERA, ALICE IN CHAINS and SLASH. Their music is a combination of progressive rhythms and sounds emanating from the guitar and drums. This five persons line-up creates three vocals, which perfectly complement each other. The whole is dark but melodic, powerful and yet harmonious playing. To sum up, this combination of Modern Metal with music of Grunge. There are also heavy and sharp musical themes.
It is difficult to say in a few words what the team wanted to express by their work. Because it is a phenomenon of that the creators feel the best their music and thus they express everything from a joy to a sorrow or an anger. The listeners can feel the emotions of musicians, which accompanied them at the creation of songs. And in the album is no shortage of emotional music and human emotion at the same time. You also can hear a brief recitations to music. At times during the listening of the sounds of tracks you can forget about your every-day reality and to fly away in the music realm of the Swedish band.
So, it always is worth to convince yourself what is the music of band and what will it make an impression on us. But if you want to be convinced of this then you need to reach for the music. I’m already convinced. So, you could listen FACESHIFT…
