KUKO DE KOBRA presents us with his second album released in 2015 “A Girl And Her Giraffe”. The four-men band from Denmark offers us songs in Rock style, which are intertwined with Pop sounds.

Listening to their music, first I have to admit that the creators of the album had lot of energy to its creation, and secondly, they have a style. Their songs are kept in the similar convention as well as they are in good taste. The guitars play significant role, because they create lots of the solos and the clean passages as well as the chords. You also can hear the characteristic arrangements of Grunge that add the darkness and a bit of sharpness to the tracks. The melodious, light and sensitive vocals make the songs are catchy and it making that is easier to empathize in the music.

Album makes pleasure and even more also because of the fact that there is no shortage of ballads. I think it is a cool band which is suitable for a tranquil party, where people need a break from the heavy sounds and vociferous vocals and only sometimes have fun by more lively hits. I think that musicians by producing the album they wanted to precisely hit to the sensitivity of listeners to screw the senses of listeners in the musical creativity of the band.

At the end I may try to find some comparison. The compositions in style of Grunge most remind me PEARL JAM. Well, let go to the listening…
