The beginning of the band is typical… A young man, an aspiring musician wants to play his favorite music and infects another youngsters by this desire… and so the band was formed by friends who later had greater or lesser success… Someday the colleagues (inspired by a life, action movies and various situations freezing the blood in veins) are starting to prepare the songs to the first album… Then they have visited the studio, Sound Palace Studios in Karlshamn and Top Floor Studios in Goteborgu where under the direction of Jacob Herman (who collaborated with EUROPE, among others) they have recorded their first album “Streetfighter”…

I must admit that musicians appropriately dressed up on the photos of booklet actually they look like after a pretty good fight on the street. But, let we listen the offers this album…

UNFAITHFUL is one of those bands that does not duplicate themes of a music, but rather they look for something new, something own, uniting different genres of Metal music. And for this reason this material is quite diverse. On the one hand it is very heavy, brutal and devastating, like bands under the sign of Thrash and even Death Metal. On the other hand, it is quite melodic, and even sometimes it is melancholic but still with maintaining appropriate dynamics and heaviness, as is the case in Hardcore or Metalcore productions.

The whole of the material is characterized by the groove climate and the specific rhythms (a very dynamic and lively) with a good dose of emotional vocals that are here bipolar… The melodic singings, sometimes very melancholic are at one extremity. And the very aggressive screams, growling and the verbal expressions are at the other extreme. These vocalizations control voltage of the whole ideally. And the vocals in conjunction with the relevant themes of instruments give the whole a very exciting tone, ranging from the melancholy and ending with aggression or even rage.

The interesting guitar solos are the additional asset, that also emphasize the emotionality of songs, so the compositions become more spacious and push the track in the direction of melancholy, or aggression. The characteristic low tuning guitars is worth to mentioning, because it makes the music is even more heavy and devastating.

“Streetfighter” is a very dangerous person.
