SARCOFAGUS guitarist Kimmo Kuusniemi introduces the new line-up, releases a new music video “Envoy Of Death” and announces a Sarcofagus Memorabilia Sales.

The new line-up started as a collaboration project working on modern up-dates of songs featured on the the original 1980 album Envoy Of Death: ?Envoy Of Death?, ?Die To Win? and ?Deadly Game?. These songs were not included in our setlist during the 2010 tour and these revamped versions serve as a perfect introduction to the ?new? band.

The collaboration worked so well that the ?new? band are currently in the studio working on a new album and plan to tour when the album is released.

The new line-up is:

Kimmo Kuusniemi – guitars and keyboards
Pete Ahonen (Stargazer, Burning Point) – vocals
Jukka Jokikokko (Burning Point, Zenith Reunion) – bass
Ville Hanhisuanto (Zenith Reunion) – drums

Brand new music video ?Envoy Of Death 2015? featuring new line-up:

“During the past 20 plus years as well as writing for the band I have also composed film music much of which was written on the keyboards. So now I wish to invent a brand new genre of metal by combining elements of my film music with my style of metal. The ?new? music will still retain the spirit of Sarcofagus.”

“To fund these new projects I have decided to sell all my Sarcofagus memorabilia. Everything is available on an offer basis. Items include original master tapes, original vinyls, posters, badges, T-shirts etc?. My Flame Thrower Guitar is also for up for sale! Make an offer if you want to burn up things or BBQ some sausages in style.”

“Our first album was called ?Cycle Of Life?. Sarcofagus is like the Mayan calendar, the first cycle has now ended and a new one has begun.”

The final album featuring the original band is entitled ?Back From The Valley Of The Kings? and is the perfect swan song for that line-up. It was recorded in one day in 2010 at the end of the comeback tour. The songs are re-workings of songs from the original 80s albums.
