The album of MAD ARCHITECT “Journey To Madness” consists of nine songs. The band comes from Sweden and its origins are described in 2011. The album “Journey To Madness” is their first full album, additionally it is released in digipack, with an interesting artistic layout. The band consists of five men with separate roles as vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards and percussion. I am a novice reviewer of music so in detail helps me Paul (Gnome). His never-ending adventure with Metal music takes a very long time (a quarter of a century). Why do I write this? Listening to the album MAD ARCHITECT “Journey To Madness” Paul, as usual did not hesitate to give me tips for what I necessarily pay attention. In the case of this band this is vocalist Snowy Shaw, who is known in the world of Metal, not only as the singer but also as the multi-instrumentalist. He was associated with bands like KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE, DIMMU BORGIR and THERION.

And such is the album of MAD ARCHITECT “Journey To Madness”. It is combine of Heavy Metal with elements of music and vocals taken from these bands. Perhaps it is caused by the previous music experiences of Snowy Shaw with these teams. Eg. the vocals from recitation to music goes to growling or scream in Black Metal style, and sometimes you can hear style of KING DIAMOND.

During of the listening you can confirm the professionalism of artists. The compositions with the expressive vocals give the seriousness for songs and it shows the devotion of musicians in their creation. I think that the musicians are emotionally involved in playing and it causes the listening of the music becomes more exciting. All is at a high level, all is polished up instrumental and vocal, all is changing like a kaleidoscope.

The writing of reviews often is a subjective feeling. I think that in the case of MAD ARCHITECT you will agree with me that this is the band standing up on high levels of artistic and musical, and they know as professionally show own idea of Heavy Metal. MAD ARCHITECT is the next interesting artistic musical experience for me and I think the many persons will feel the same after the listening of the album.
